Role Summary:

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer.

This role will involve developing and maintaining functional test cases, System & Integration Test cases, and automated scripts used in SDLC, driving customer satisfaction through delightful experiences.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance, with experience in agile software development, defect rates, automation, and performance.

Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in STEM or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of application testing experience.
  • Proven expertise in use case generation, manual testing, and bug lifecycle management.
  • A solid understanding of relational database models and GUI tools to interact with them (Working knowledge of SQL).
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Familiarity with using bug tracking and test case management tools (JIRA, Azure TFS, Git).
  • Hands-on experience testing and working with multi-browser and mobile device systems.
  • A 'can-do' attitude, excellent written and communication skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities:

In addition to the above, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Tracking metrics such as velocity, code quality, and defect density across all phases, reporting them to management, and providing quality sign-off to project teams.
  • Documenting testing results, diagnosing problems, and reporting bugs and enhancements to the Agile squad.

  • Experience in C#, JUnit/TestNG, Jenkins, Playwright, Selenium, SoapUI.
  • Proficiency in creating Playwright, Selenium, REST API, Junit test automation.
  • Hands-on experience with API testing (JSON, REST), using tools such as Postman and JMeter.
