Quality Assurance Specialist

The Quality Assurance Specialist plays a pivotal role in guaranteeing the delivery of secure and reliable software across diverse platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test plans for application interfaces and operations to ensure seamless functionality.
  • Maintain quality gates and monitor code quality metrics using tools such as Sonar Cloud.
  • Track defects from QA findings to identify areas for improvement.
  • Conduct release readiness reviews and validate quality criteria prior to deployment to ensure product excellence.
  • Prepare and maintain audit artifacts for compliance and internal/external reviews to uphold transparency.
  • Perform vulnerability scanning and reporting using tools like Sonar Cloud and Visual Studio to safeguard against potential threats.
  • Support audit readiness and escalate unresolved blockers to ensure timely resolution.
  • Participate in weekly QA reviews and collaborate with Dev Leads, Ops, and Service teams to foster effective communication.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for QA-related issues to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain and update system documentation and QA procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Prepare weekly status reports detailing progress, testing tasks, and artifact collection to facilitate informed decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in QA methodologies, test planning, and defect tracking to drive success.
  • Familiarity with static code analysis and vulnerability scanning tools (e.g. Sonar Cloud) to enhance security.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve collective goals.
  • Relevant certifications are highly valued but not mandatory.

Experience & Education:

  • A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in QA or related positions, preferably within DevSecOps environments, is highly preferred.
  • A Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is required, although proven experience can substitute for degree requirements.
