As a senior architect, you will play a crucial role in the design and delivery of projects. Your primary responsibility will be to create innovative and functional designs that meet the needs of our clients.

Job Description
  • Analyse architectural designs and plans to ensure they meet industry standards and government regulations
  • Research and inquire about different materials to ensure the best possible outcome
  • Supervise junior architects and assign tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the project
  • Schedule and deliver skill enhancement workshops to improve team performance
  • Communicate project status and completion timelines to clients in a clear and concise manner
  • Prepare building models and structure plans to visualise the project
  • Conduct mockup sessions to test and refine the design
  • Guide the construction project from start to finish to ensure high-quality results
  • Presentation project briefs to clients to explain the design requirements and specifications
  • Understand clients' requirements, preferences, and environmental impacts on the construction project
  • Create blueprints and make alterations based on client feedback
  • Develop projects by adhering to specified budgets and timelines
  • Undertake regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress
  • Develop and interpret structural designs, act as mentors, managers, and advisors to ensure project success
  • Control projects from start to finish to ensure high-quality, innovative, and functional design
  • Demonstrate creativity, foresight, and architectural judgment in developing solutions
  • Produce construction documents using REVIT to facilitate communication with stakeholders
  • Understand construction assemblies and best practices to ensure optimal results
  • Actively coordinate design and equipment with consultants and other disciplines to achieve project goals
  • Research and select building products, compose written specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Participate in project meetings and document discussions through meeting minutes to ensure transparency
  • Actively participate in quality assurance/quality control review sessions at project milestones to ensure excellence
  • Compile documentation required to submit projects to Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) for review and approval
  • Track submissions and respond to comments and requests from AHJs to facilitate project progression
  • Manage projects through the Construction Administration phase, routing RFIs and shop drawings to team members, responding to RFIs, reviewing shop drawings, issuing ASIs and RFPs, and reviewing pay applications
  • Travel to and visit project construction sites to observe progress and compose field reports to inform decision-making
  • Continually learn and stay informed of new systems, methods, and sustainable practices to enhance professional development
  • Support strategic goals of the firm, studio, department, and manager to promote growth and success
  • Maintain positive working relationships with design professionals to foster collaboration and innovation
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in architecture or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in construction and architecture
  • Strong organisational, creative and presentation skills
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
