Reinsurance Contract Specialist

The Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to manage and oversee the management of accepted reinsurance contracts across our region. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in reinsurance operations.

  • Manage and complete accepted reinsurance contracts and related documentation in line with industry standards.
  • Review and provide first-level control of contract wordings with third parties.
  • Support contract data entry, monitoring, and reporting through our system.
  • Own and oversee the Business Acceptance Form process.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve queries and ensure timely completion.
  • Monitor countersignature processes and ensure contract integrity.
  • Support the development of template contracts and related documentation.

The Responsibilities

This role involves:

  1. Managing and processing reinsurance contracts and associated documentation;
  2. Reviewing and controlling contract wording with external parties;
  3. Maintaining accurate records and reporting on contract performance;
  4. Coordinating the Business Acceptance Form process;
  5. Providing support and guidance to internal stakeholders;
  6. Maintaining contract integrity and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements;
  7. Developing and maintaining standardized contract templates.
