Job Title: Sales and Business Development Leader
">Key Responsibilities:- Drive the execution of the business strategy to achieve targeted performance levels.
- Develop a robust sales funnel and consistently meet sales targets by fostering strong relationships with clients.
- Optimise branch growth and profitability through market knowledge, adapting sales strategies accordingly.
- Promote customer retention and expansion by nurturing liaisons with clients and channel partners for repeat business or referrals.
- Create a defined source mix comprising direct and indirect sourcing channels.
- Capitalise on business opportunities and collaborate with developers on joint promotional activities.
- Facilitate the development of new locations to penetrate new markets and boost business.
- Evaluate and streamline the lending process across various stages including inquiry, application, verification, loan processing, sanction, post-sanction documentation, disbursement, collection, and customer service.
- Address post-sales customer and channel partner escalations.
- Coordinate and oversee key internal departments, strategising roadmaps for lending products.
- Manage branch operating costs including acquisition expenses, operations, and other overheads.
- Maintain high-quality books with minimal delinquency at the branch level.
- Collaborate with the collections team to resolve stress accounts and remove them from the portfolio.
- Team Management:
- Maximise team productivity by effectively managing sales managers to achieve business targets and area profitability.
- Work closely with departments, including channel partners.
- Lead and supervise SM, RM teams through hiring, training, reward, and recognition.
- Ensure overall administrative functioning of the branch.
- Maintain active distribution span of control as per norms.
- Industry Governance:
- Stay updated on market trends and competitor intelligence to develop effective sales and marketing strategies.
- Establish internal controls for compliance and conduct periodic audits to detect non-compliance, frauds, and devise corrective actions.
- Understand market dynamics, competition, processes, and products available in the market, providing feedback to central product and policy teams to stay ahead.
- Comply with audit, NHB regulations, and company policies and procedures.
