About Our Mid-Level CAD Engineer

At our engineering firm, we are looking for a skilled mechanical CAD engineer to help shape the direction of our product that generates 2D drawings from 3D models.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Performing simulations and tests to validate designs and create technical drawings and documentation,
  • Apply GD&T per ISO and ASME Y14.5 standards to define form, fit, and function of parts
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams to iterate on designs
  • Support design reviews and provide technical input on manufacturability

Key Requirements:

  • 2–7 years of hands-on experience in 2D mechanical engineering for products from prototype to production, with a primary focus on CNC machining and casting
  • Proficient in SOLIDWORKS and other CAD software i.e. NX, CATIA 
  • Strong working knowledge of GD&T principles
  • ISO or ASME Y14.5 certification is strongly preferred but not mandatory
