Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Unix Systems Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex Unix server infrastructure projects, utilizing your technical expertise and leadership skills to drive success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, deploy, and manage large-scale Unix server infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot Unix servers, applications, and services, using scripting languages such as Shell, Perl, and Python.
  • Develop and implement scripts for automating tasks, improving efficiency, and reducing errors.
  • Maintain and improve the overall health and security of the Unix server infrastructure, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues, and provide expert advice on Unix-related matters.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in Unix servers operating system Administration, deploying, managing large Unix server infrastructure.
  • Excellent knowledge of OS administration, including Unix, Linux, and Red Hat Linux.
  • Experience with scripting languages, such as Shell, Perl, and Python, and their application in automation and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of virtualized environments, clustering, and storage management.
  • Incident management, change management, and ITIL framework knowledge essential.
Qualifications
  • Engineering graduate, MCA, or Computer Science Graduate/Pg with relevant qualifications.
  • Result Orientation and Client Focus necessary qualities.
  • High degree of initiative, dependability, and ability to work with little supervision required.
