SAP Basis Consultant Job

We are currently hiring for the position of SAP Basis Consultant to lead our team's technical infrastructure.

  • The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills to handle bridge calls with clients.
  • Monitoring systems to ensure they are tuned and running is a key responsibility.
  • Supporting project knowledge in handling ABAP and JAVA systems as a mandatory skill, along with applications knowledge on BOBJ, BODS, Cloud connector, Content server, and Open Text, will be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge on webdispatcher and SSL/S SO configuration is required.

The primary task of basis administrators is to provide technical support for SAP systems. They have to examine technical infrastructures, including transport and printer administration, job scheduling, designing, and implementing of SAP operational needs.

Maintaining multiple SAP instances that comprise the SAP environment (development, test, training, and production) is crucial.

The integrity of the SAP environment must be maintained by managing the SAP Correction and Transport System (CTS) to ensure all configuration and development objects are promoted properly.

Techincal changes into the environment using a structured approach that minimizes risk and achieves high reliability, availability, and performance of each SAP instance.

Configure and manage the SAP printing subsystem for all SAP instances.

Maintain SAP performance by planning and executing SAP tuning strategies.

Monitor all SAP systems (work processes, users, system logs, short dumps, locks, developer traces, system traces, disk space).
