As a finance professional, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day finance operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting month-end book closure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily accounting operations including accounts receivable and accounts payable.
  • Record and reconcile journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, vendor payments, and collections.
  • Handle goods and services tax (GST) and taxation-related compliance.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations and financial reporting.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Support audits, statutory compliance, and internal financial reviews.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for financial data accuracy and timely reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in commerce, finance, or accounting.
  • 1–3 years of experience in finance and accounting roles.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and compliance.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Zoho Books/Finance.
  • Hands-on experience in journal entries, accounts receivable/payable, reconciliations, and book closure.
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
