About This Role

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a challenging role as a Senior Logistics Consultant.

As a senior logistics consultant, you will lead and participate in the design and configuration of SAP Transportation Management solutions to meet client requirements.

You will collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze transportation management needs and translate them into effective SAP Transportation Management solutions.

Additionally, you will configure SAP Transportation Management system settings, master data, transportation networks, carriers, rates, and relevant business processes.

You will also customize and enhance SAP Transportation Management functionalities through appropriate extensions, integration, and enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support end-to-end SAP Transportation Management implementation projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, timeline, and budget constraints.
  • Provide guidance to junior consultants and project team members, sharing best practices and industry insights.
  • Collaborate with clients to define project goals, objectives, and deliverables, and manage stakeholder expectations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience with SAP Transportation Management (TM) module.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering SAP Transportation Management implementation projects.
  • Strong knowledge of transportation and logistics processes and best practices.
  • Proficiency in SAP Transportation Management configuration, including transportation planning, order management, carrier selection, and optimization.
  • Experience with SAP Transportation Management integration with other SAP modules and third-party systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders.
  • Project management skills, including the ability to lead project teams and manage project timelines and budgets.
  • SAP Transportation Management certification is a plus.
