Cloud Automation Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Automation Engineer to join our team. This individual will design, build, and optimize infrastructure automation solutions across cloud-based and hybrid environments.

  • Infrastructure Automation & Orchestration:
    • Develop reusable and scalable IaC templates (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation), automate provisioning & configuration across public, private, and hybrid clouds, implement VMware automation with Aria stack, and enable policy-as-code.
  • CICD Pipelines:
    • Build & manage CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions), integrate automated testing and quality checks for deployments, collaborate with DevOps and development teams to streamline SDLC.
  • Cloud Platform Management:
    • Deploy & optimize infrastructure on VMware, OCI, and Google Cloud, enable multi-cloud & hybrid strategies with Kubernetes/Docker, and automate solutions on Nutanix platforms and hyperscaler environments.
  • Monitoring & Optimization:
    • Implement monitoring, auto-scaling, and self-healing mechanisms, troubleshoot and ensure high availability & disaster recovery readiness.
  • Collaboration & Documentation:
    • Work closely with DevOps, Operations, and Security teams, maintain detailed documentation, and provide team mentorship.
