Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to manage, optimize, and secure our cloud environment.

  • Schedule regular maintenance tasks to ensure high availability and scalability of data platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cost efficiency and optimal resource allocation.
  • Analyze system logs and perform troubleshooting to resolve technical issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:Cloud Services Administration

Manage cloud services, users, roles, and permissions following RBAC principles.

Infrastructure Optimization

Monitor infrastructure performance, optimize resources, and tune workloads to ensure efficient execution.

Data Management

Oversee databases, schemas, tables, and data pipelines in the cloud.

Security & Compliance

Implement security best practices including encryption, data masking, network policies, and audit logging.

Automation

Develop scripts for monitoring, alerting, and automating administrative tasks (SQL, Python, PowerShell, etc.).

Monitoring & Troubleshooting

Track infrastructure utilization, storage, and query performance; identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.

Cost Efficiency

Manage compute and storage costs by monitoring consumption and implementing optimization strategies.

Upgrades & Maintenance

Apply patches, monitor updates, and ensure minimal downtime.

Integration

Support integrations with ETL/ELT tools, BI platforms, and cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Documentation & Governance

Maintain detailed documentation of cloud configurations, policies, and standard operating procedures.
