Key Role: Cloud Engineer Specialist

This pivotal position focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining AWS cloud infrastructure.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage AWS cloud architecture, including EC2 instances, S3 buckets, VPCs, RDS databases, and Lambda functions.
  • Collaborate with teams to design, implement, and maintain backup, high-availability, and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Design and develop automation scripts and tools for provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of cloud resources.
  • Monitor system performance, analyze trends, and implement improvements to ensure optimal resource utilization and cost efficiency.
  • Implement security best practices and compliance standards to safeguard cloud environments.
  • Administer company SaaS platforms to enhance user productivity, focusing on tools like Okta and AWS Workspaces.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior cloud engineers and other team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services, features, and best practices, and evaluate their applicability to our infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing AWS cloud solutions.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certification is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in cloud environments.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
