Job Title: CPU Physical Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
  • We are seeking an experienced CPU Physical Design Engineer to develop high-speed cores, including CPUs, GPUs, and DDR, with expertise in synthesis, constraints, and physical design.
  • Prioritizing synthesis and constraint experience is crucial to achieving Power Performance Area (PPA) goals.
  • Collaborating with RTL designers to optimize designs and provide feedback is also essential.
  • Maintaining knowledge of silicon margins, voltage trade-offs, power, and area impact is a key requirement.
  • Floorplanning multi-core, L2, and L3 designs, as well as power planning up to bumps, is another critical task.
  • Understanding critical paths, pipelining, latency, and super buffer implementations is necessary.

  • You will have a strong background in CPU Physical Design Engineering, with expertise in synthesis, constraints, and physical design.
  • Experience in developing high-speed cores, including CPUs, GPUs, and DDR, is required.
  • Prior experience in prioritizing synthesis and constraint experience to achieve PPA goals is necessary.
  • Candidates with a strong understanding of silicon margins, voltage trade-offs, power, and area impact will be preferred.
  • A good collaboration skill with RTL designers to optimize designs and provide feedback is also required.
