Job Title: Data Architecture Specialist

AWS Data Engineer is responsible for designing and building data pipelines using a range of technologies, including AWS Glue, Python, EMR/Spark, and Kafka/Kinesis streaming.

Responsibilities
  • Design and Develop Data Pipelines: Create efficient and scalable data pipelines to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into Aurora Postgres relational databases.
  • Troubleshoot and Resolve Data Quality Issues: Identify and resolve data quality issues through root cause analysis and collaborative problem-solving with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Cloud Technologies: Proficiency in cloud technologies, particularly AWS services such as Aurora/RDS, Glue, Lambda, EC2, S3, EMR, Step Functions, CloudTrail, and CloudWatch.
  • Data Pipeline Development: Experience building data pipelines using AWS Glue, Python, EMR/Spark, and Kafka/Kinesis streaming.
  • Relational Database Design: Strong understanding of relational database design principles, with a preference for Aurora Postgres.
  • SQL Querying: Extensive experience writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures in Postgres.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve data quality issues.
