Job Title: Data Architecture Specialist

About the Role:

  • We are looking for a skilled Data Architecture Specialist to design and implement efficient data pipelines.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in creating event-driven architectures using streaming technologies and identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • In this role, you will build infrastructure for extracting, transforming, and loading data from various sources using SQL and big data technologies.
  • You will work with analytics and data science teams to develop tools that enhance product development.
  • Collaboration with data scientists is also key in improving data system functionality.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Proficiency in either Scala or Python programming languages.
  • Expertise in Apache Spark and performance tuning is required.
  • Familiarity with DBT (Data Build Tool) for data transformations and modeling is essential.

Desired Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a data engineering role.
  • Experience with big data tools, relational databases, and NoSQL databases is desirable.
  • Knowledge of data pipeline management tools and cloud services is beneficial.
  • Understanding of stream-processing systems and object-oriented scripting languages is necessary.
