Technical Lead Job Description

This is a senior role that requires strong technical expertise and leadership skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the integration of applications across the SAP platform and external legacy systems.
  • Lead technical delivery for SAP migrations in all sectors, ensuring seamless transition and minimizing downtime.
  • Coordinate project activities throughout the entire project lifecycle, from pursuit to deployment and hypercare.
  • Support system management deployment, collaborating with team members to address and resolve issues or problems.
  • Partner with IT organizations and cloud partners/vendors to plan and deliver comprehensive technical support for projects.
  • Manage the technical aspects of the PepsiCo Global template solution.
  • Deploy SAP upgrades for the sector, working closely with global and DevSecOps teams.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 12 years of related IT work experience, including significant experience managing teams and large-scale technical projects.
  • 10+ years of SAP experience with cross-functional knowledge in application development, middleware, system administration, infrastructure; S/4 & HANA experience preferred.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of strong development experience in the past.
  • Past experience working in ECC 6.0 or S/4 versions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across project teams.
  • Experience in the CPG industry is a plus.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English.
  • Knowledge of integration points between business processes.
  • Solves highly complex problems within their work team.
  • Familiarity with tools like SAP Solution Manager, SAP ChaRM, ITIL, HP Service Manager, quality management tools, and project implementation and production support experience.
