Senior Lifecycle Engineering Specialist

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Senior Lifecycle Engineering Specialist to lead our effort in developing and implementing mission-critical systems that meet regulatory requirements. This individual will work closely with engineering stakeholders to bridge open source engineering processes with regulated technology platform requirements, focusing on compliance and certification.

  • This role involves defining and implementing continuous improvement processes, establishing qualification requirements, and ensuring adherence to engineering quality standards.
  • Responsibilities include representing the organization in front of customers, partners, and consortia, as well as coordinating and guiding Canonical's engineering ways of working.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in engineering and process management, leading successful compliance and certification efforts, and understanding industry standards such as ISO IEC 9001, 25010, and 15504 / SPICE.
