Real Estate Lawyer

Our organization is seeking an experienced Real Estate Lawyer to join our Corporate Counsel team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property law and conveyancing, with a focus on managing property transactions from start to finish.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting, negotiating, and reviewing legal documents related to real estate transactions, including lease agreements, sale deeds, and title documents.
  • They will also provide legal support for property acquisitions, rentals, and disposals, ensuring compliance with local real estate laws and regulations.
  • Additionally, the Real Estate Lawyer will liaise with external counsels, government bodies, and regulatory authorities to resolve property-related issues.

Key Requirements:

  • LLB degree with 4–10 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Strong exposure to real estate, property law, and conveyancing.
  • Hands-on experience drafting and negotiating leave & license agreements, lease deeds, and sale transactions.
  • Working knowledge of RERA, municipal, and development authority regulations.
  • Experience handling property registrations, title verification, stamp duty, and due diligence processes.
  • Ability to liaise with government authorities and external counsel effectively.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in maintaining legal trackers, records, and documentation.
  • Excellent English proficiency (verbal and written).
  • Willingness to contribute to other legal workstreams beyond property/conveyance when required.
