Student Guidance Specialist

The role of a student guidance specialist is crucial in facilitating the transition of students through the higher education process.

This involves providing guidance to students regarding various undergraduate and postgraduate courses, as well as advising them on specific degree programs and admission procedures.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong background in sales and customer service. The individual should be able to handle queries over the telephone, convert leads to admissions, record and maintain calls, and maintain telephonic and walk-in records for the day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guiding students about different undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered.
  • Advising students on specific degree programs and admission procedures.
  • Collecting feedback from participants and consolidating the same.
  • Handling queries over the telephone.
  • Converting leads to admissions.
  • Recording and maintaining calls on given leads.
  • Maintaining telephonic and walk-in records for the day.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in any field.
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the education sector or a related industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong sales acumen with the ability to influence and persuade others.
