Job Title: Strategic Production Planning Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Production Planning Manager to join our team.

As a key member of the production planning department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing production schedules based on customer orders, production capacity, and material availability. You will work closely with the sales and marketing team to forecast demand and adjust production plans accordingly.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop, manage, and implement production schedules that meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization.
  • Create daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly production plans that align with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to analyze market trends and adjust production plans to ensure competitiveness.
  • Maintain optimal utilization of machinery, equipment, and labor to achieve production targets and minimize costs.
  • Monitor production progress and make adjustments to schedules as needed to meet deadlines and quality standards.

In addition to your technical skills, you will also be responsible for leading and managing a team of production planners and controllers, setting clear expectations, providing guidance, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of production planning and scheduling in a manufacturing environment, proficiency in inventory management systems and software, excellent problem-solving abilities, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to enhance productivity and efficiency.
