Finance Leader Opportunity

This is a high-impact leadership role involving end-to-end ownership across financial planning, business finance, internal controls, compliance, reporting, and taxation.

You will lead with an AI-first mindset, proactively applying automation and intelligence in finance operations.

You will work closely with senior leaders, drive strategic initiatives, and build a modern, AI-empowered finance function for growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning and Budgeting:
    • Lead quarterly and annual budgeting across all functions, aligning with company goals using AI-enabled planning tools.
    • Develop robust forecasting models for revenue, costs, and cash runway.
    • Track key metrics—lifetime value, customer acquisition cost, net revenue retention, payback period, contribution margins, ROI on marketing spends etc using AI tools for real-time insights.
    • Drive variance analysis, scenario planning, and cost-benefit assessments for strategic decisions.
    • Support pricing, hiring, and expansion plans through data-backed financial insights and playbooks.
    • Develop reporting frameworks and dashboards to deliver actionable insights to leaders and teams.
    • Promote financial discipline and budgeting ownership across teams through clear planning processes.
    • Analyze international taxes and advise on the same.
  • Cash Flow Management:
    • Manage cash flow to support business continuity and growth.
    • Monitor monthly runway and alert leaders to potential issues.
    • Optimize working capital and the cash conversion cycle using AI-led process improvements.
  • Business Strategy Support:
    • Collaborate with the leadership team to align financial goals with overall business strategy.
    • Provide financial input during strategic planning sessions and other significant business decisions.
  • Reporting & Compliance:
    • Own monthly MIS, board decks, and leadership updates.
    • Lead audit closures and ensure timely statutory filings.
    • Maintain internal controls and adherence to financial regulations.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
    • Mentor and grow a strong finance team across functions.
    • Foster an AI-first mindset, encourage automation, ownership, and continuous improvement.
  • Process Setup and Continuous Improvement:
    • Design and institutionalize policies across entities with scalable, tech-enabled workflows.
    • Drive automation, accuracy, and efficiency across financial operations.
    • Stay up-to-date with new technologies, AI practices, and regulatory changes.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA from a top-tier institution.
  • Prior experience in business finance required.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
  • Experience or interest in applying AI in finance workflows.
