Business Development Expert

We are seeking an exceptional Business Development Expert to drive growth in our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in trading polymers in India and international markets.

  • Develop and implement strategic business plans to identify new opportunities for growth in current and prospective markets.
  • Maintain and develop customer databases by contacting, collecting inquiries, and sending offers regularly.
  • Procure and sell plastic resins, including PP, PE, PET, and PVC, from Indian producers and distributors.
  • Sell PP, PE, PET, and PVC to assigned existing customers and new customers.
  • Represent the company at meetings and conferences in India and international tradeshows to promote the company's products.
  • Nurture relationships with Indian resin producers.
  • Assist in monitoring logistics, inventory management, and cargo allocations.
  • Conduct market research by gathering market information for price setting to specific markets.
  • Prepare marketing reports on market situations and competitors' products to analyse market trends based on region, season, and customer habits.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in trading polymers in India and international markets.
  • In-depth understanding of the polymer market in India.
  • Able to be on abroad or domestic business trips.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the latest business policies and regulations.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Outstanding leadership quality and negotiation skills.
  • Time and task management.
  • Ability to work independently under high pressure and flexibility in work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Management, International Trade, or other related fields.
  • Prioritised MBA degree is preferred.
