Associate Program Manager Role Overview

This leadership position oversees back office operations, client management, team management, quality initiatives, and business continuity. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, experience in managing large teams, and a track record of delivering high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage back office operations independently
  • Establish valued partnerships with clients to achieve goals
  • Handle client escalations and lead mitigation steps
  • Lead a team of 70+ people in training, onboarding, resource allocation, delivery management, performance appraisals, and mentoring
  • Develop and share process knowledge and best practices within the team
  • Lead various quality initiatives across processes managed
  • Ensure business continuity, transformation, and audit compliance

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant field
  • 14-17 years of experience in handling large teams and Investment Banking Operations
  • Conceptualize, design, and deliver high-quality solutions and insightful analysis
  • Prior experience with offshoring processes and methodologies is highly preferred
  • Proven track record of managing complex Operations
  • Able to meet client expectations with respect to SLAs, KPI, and KRIs
  • Delivery of productivity gains and identify and implement process improvements
  • Possess strategic perspective, business acumen, action orientation, and drive for results
  • Able to present and lead client meetings with senior internal and external stakeholders
  • Able to understand and analyze complex problems, devise and present a solution, and apply sound judgment independently
  • Well-organized with ability to prioritize effectively and multi-task, while working independently
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Experience with data visualization and data analytics tools
  • Ability to work with teams across time-zones and cultures
  • Organized, detail-oriented, flexible, self-starter & highly motivated
  • Ability to act fast and decisively when dealing with critical situations

Reporting/Client Management:

  • We follow a practice of managing reports & matrices within deadlines and with 100% accuracy
  • Understanding the requirements, data to be used & distribution list on the reports
  • Reporting the BAU & KRIs to senior management & client
  • Preparing various business reports like monthly and quarterly business reviews to give visibility around key metrics to clients
