Key Oracle EPM Consultant Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Oracle EPM consultant to join our organization. This is a hands-on position requiring strong implementation and development expertise with Essbase, PCMCS/EPCM, and PBCS.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Designing and configuring Oracle EPCM modules, including data management and reporting.
  • Configuring and customizing EPCM modules, including defining cost drivers, allocation rules, and reporting structures.
  • Providing technical knowledge of Oracle EPCM features, functionalities, and integration capabilities with other Oracle Cloud modules.
  • Managing data mappings, validations, and transformations within EPCM and integrating it with other systems.
  • Ensuring the EPCM solution aligns with organizational business processes and objectives.
  • Expert in implementing Oracle PCM/EPCM from designing allocation rules to fine-tuning for performance.
  • Working on direct integration to ERP GL and other EPM applications using Data Management.
  • Understanding of audit trail and balancing reports for allocations.
  • Implemented projects with Oracle PCM and developed artifacts starting from metadata creation/updates, setting up rules, designing web forms and data grids, creating reports and dashboards.
  • Understanding of financial statements, close cycle, and related best practices.
  • Experience creating consolidated financial statements for customers.
  • Responsible for understanding project plans, timelines, regular status reports, risk, and issue logs, and working with teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years EPM/PCM experience in administration, design, analysis, development, and support of applications in various domains and products related to EPM and PCM.
  • Strong experience in PBCS Business rules - Design, Development, and performance tuning.
  • Experience in metadata integration with EDMCS and custom files for EPM modules - PBCS & PCMCS.
  • Hands on experience in configuration of rules and rulesets in PCM.
  • Hands on experience of administrative activities related to PCM.
  • Data management skills to create data load rules, mappings and loading of data.
  • Desired functional knowledge (Understanding of Chart of Accounts and allocations process).
  • Must be able to work independently to identify, troubleshoot and resolve issues prior to their occurrence.
  • Strong skills across MS Office and other collaboration tools.
  • Should be open to adopt new technologies.
  • Good knowledge of ITIL concepts.
  • Should be flexible to work for long hours overlapping with different time zones.
  • Should possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Positive attitude and self-confidence.
  • Ability to work under pressure to achieve daily deadlines for client deliverables.

Qualifications:

  • MBA Finance /Bachelor's Degree level qualification in a computer or IT related subject. Finance background also applicable.
