Senior Risk Assessor

We are seeking a seasoned professional with extensive experience in underwriting to join our team as a Senior Risk Assessor. This role involves comprehensive case ownership and thorough borrower profile evaluations.

  • Perform detailed credit report reviews for accurate risk assessments.
  • Evaluate borrowers using the 4 Cs of Credit: Character, Capacity, Capital, and Collateral.
  • Conduct income calculations, debt-to-income ratio assessments, loan-to-value ratio evaluations, asset calculations, and PITI reviews for both UK mortgage and US mortgage underwriting.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for seamless processing and decision-making.

As a Senior Risk Assessor, you will work closely with various stakeholders to drive informed decision-making and mitigate potential risks. Your expertise will play a vital role in shaping our underwriting strategies and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 3.5 years of experience in live end-to-end underwriting.
  • Strong knowledge of credit report review, DTI, LTV, PITI, income & asset calculations.
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills with high accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
