Job Overview

The Vice President is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the Credit Analyst team in India that underwrites deals for the US market.

This position requires close collaboration with the Credit Committee in New York to ensure seamless functioning of the credit function.

Key responsibilities include ensuring quality of credit analysis, training and mentoring the team to adhere to underwriting quality metrics.

Additionally, the role involves overseeing daily underwriting pipeline and queues to ensure timely movement, balanced workloads, and efficient resource allocation.

Interacting with clients and stakeholders to gather feedback and mentor the team accordingly is crucial for this role.

Strong leadership skills, excellent written and oral communication skills are essential for success in this position.

The ideal candidate will be able to provide guidance and resolve issues to support smooth loan flow while ensuring underwriting decisions meet agency, investor, and company guidelines.

Process enhancements in the credit function to improve quality of analysis and turnaround times are also key responsibilities.

Finally, the Vice President will interact with the Data Science team to embed AI and machine learning into our underwriting processes.
