Senior QA Manager Role

The role is part of an expansion plan to establish a Quality Assurance team in India, focusing on performing independent audits for underwriting operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Senior QA analysts in conducting independent audits on underwriting work executed by BPO Partners.
  • Oversee quality assurance activities across key underwriting back-office processes to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Act as a gatekeeper to ensure the completeness and accuracy of audit findings for complex cases.
  • Monitor team productivity and manage audit sampling volumes to ensure timely completion of reviews.
  • Collaborate with process owners and compliance teams to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree required; insurance certifications like ACII or CPCU preferred.
  • Seasoned P&C industry operations lead with 10-12 years of experience, including 4 years overseeing QA function and managing high-performing teams.
  • Proven expertise in underwriting processes for different regions and business lines.
  • Familiarity with vendor governance and multi-tier QA environments.

Required Skills:

  • Excellent knowledge of underwriting processes, policy documentation, and insurance regulatory compliance.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to drive root cause analysis and process improvements.
  • High level of accountability, organizational skills, and decision-making ability.

This role requires strong domain expertise, team management experience, and ability to work closely with stakeholders across geographies.
