PR Associate Job Description

We are seeking an ambitious and creative PR Associate to join our team. As a key member of the public relations department, you'll be responsible for developing media strategies, engaging with media professionals, and executing public relations campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft high-quality press materials, including press releases, pitch notes, product notes, and media FAQs, aligned with client objectives and industry best practices.
  • Build and maintain relationships with journalists, bloggers, influencers, and other media professionals to secure placements and drive brand awareness.
  • Support event planning and execution, including logistics, media kits, and post-event reports.
  • Prepare monthly reports, including cost-benefit analysis, daily news monitoring, work-in-progress updates, and campaign effectiveness tracking.
  • Conduct research for press releases, business development pitches, concept notes, and quarterly or annual plans, providing valuable insights.
  • Respond promptly to client communication, send meeting minutes within 24 hours, and provide regular updates, reports, and work-in-progress status.
  • Identify relevant media opportunities, track industry trends, and key publications to stay ahead of the curve.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in PR or a media-related role.
  • Experience working with Fashion/Lifestyle or Hospitality/F&B brands is a plus.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficient in social media platforms and online communication tools.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and relationship-building abilities.
  • Knowledge of media databases, influencers, and industry trends is a plus.
