Software Development Engineer in Test

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test to join our team. This individual will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining robust automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, TestNG/JUnit, and REST Assured.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop and maintain automation frameworks for web, API and backend services.
  • Build and implement scalable, reusable test automation libraries and utilities.
  • Automate testing for web, API and backend services.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, DevOps and QA teams to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Perform code reviews, debugging and troubleshooting of automation scripts.
  • Ensure test coverage, maintain test documentation and provide automation strategy input.
  • Drive best practices in test automation across the team.
  • Mentor junior QA engineers on automation and coding practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong coding experience in Java.
  • Expertise in automation framework design and development.
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG/JUnit, Maven/Gradle.
  • API automation experience using REST Assured, Postman, Swagger.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and database validation.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodology.
