Job Overview

We're seeking a seasoned Telecommunications Network Specialist to join our international team in supporting clients globally from India in a fully remote capacity.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals to leverage their skills and expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex telecommunications networks.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network engineering, with a focus on troubleshooting and resolving complex issues related to GTD-5 switches.

The successful candidate will work closely with a US-based manager and a collaborative team dedicated to technical excellence and continuous innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues with GTD-5 switches requiring at least 5 years' experience
  • Deliver Tier 3 telephony and hardware support, including fault isolation and resolution
  • Interface with customers, support teams, and vendors to resolve network problems
  • Guide field teams on proper trouble isolation and hardware replacement
  • Document internal processes and mentor other engineers
  • Ensure accurate, timely ticket updates and participate in an on-call rotation
Requirements
  • At least 5 years' hands-on GTD-5 hardware support and telephony troubleshooting experience
  • Experience with call processing and translations
  • Familiarity with central office procedures and ISO27001 compliance
  • Strong communication, customer focus, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently from home and manage time effectively
  • Degree in Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
