Automation Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing automated test suites to verify the functionality, performance, and scalability of our software applications.

  • Create automated test suites using various testing frameworks and tools.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and develop test plans and test cases accordingly.
  • Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to enable efficient testing and delivery of software updates.
  • Analyze test results and identify areas for improvement.
  • Mentor junior members of the QA team and provide technical guidance on testing best practices and automation techniques.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on test automation.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Proficiency in test tools such as Selenium, Appium, Cypress, and Playwright.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Circle CI, or GitLab CI.
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
