Job Description:

At the forefront of renewable energy, we seek a skilled professional to spearhead our solar operations management initiatives.

The successful candidate will oversee the remote coordination of rooftop solar assets, driving performance and ensuring uptime commitments are met with precision and speed.

As the central liaison between internal teams, contractors, and leadership, this role demands strong technical acumen, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to balance compliance requirements with operational rigor.

Role Overview:
  • Act as primary point of contact for O&M contractors across all project sites.
  • Develop and execute preventive and corrective maintenance schedules in line with contract terms.
  • Monitor and escalate ticket resolution delays to ensure SLA compliance.
Performance & Compliance Oversight:
  • Review monthly/annual system performance data, identifying deviations and areas for improvement.
  • Track uptime across sites and lead performance enhancement measures.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory, safety, and documentation compliance protocols.
  • Conduct regular remote audits and verifications.
Technical Support & Escalation:
  • Provide first-level troubleshooting support for inverter, wiring, and monitoring issues.
  • Interpret monitoring data to pinpoint root causes and recommend corrective actions.
  • Liaise with internal engineering teams and OEMs for escalated technical interventions.
Reporting & Documentation:
  • Maintain comprehensive internal logs of contractor performance and system health.
  • Consolidate site-level reports into executive dashboards for leadership review.
  • Track warranties, spares, insurance claims, and asset inventory for seamless O&M continuity.
Stakeholder Management & Communication:
  • Establish structured communication cadences with contractor supervisors and site teams.
  • Provide senior management with timely updates on system performance, compliance status, and escalations.
  • Assist in training site personnel to enhance on-ground operational discipline.

This role requires a seasoned professional with 5–7 years of solar O&M experience, possessing a strong understanding of rooftop solar systems, digital monitoring platforms, and SCADA technology. The ideal candidate should be proficient in data analysis, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate a keen eye for detail.

A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field is preferred. PMP certification or equivalent project management qualifications are an added advantage.
