Key Responsibilities include leading and overseeing all production activities on the shop floor to ensure timely output.

Supervising job placement, material flow, and stage-wise movement during fabrication and assembly are also important responsibilities.

Designing and executing layout plans for new lines/projects including fixtures, gauges, and equipment installations require strong leadership skills.

Maintaining and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), daily production reports, machine logs, and breakdown records keep our operations running smoothly.

Managing in-process inventory and maintaining an efficient flow across the production chain help us meet deadlines.

Collaborating closely with R&D and design teams ensures a smooth onboarding of new products and structure types.

Monitoring production costs and resource utilization helps us achieve predefined goals.

Enforcing strict compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) standards is essential for our operations.

Driving lean manufacturing practices, automation initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts contributes to our success.

Ensuring adherence to quality benchmarks and industry certifications specific to solar structure manufacturing is critical.

Qualifications and Experience required include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in solar structure manufacturing or a related metal fabrication industry.
  • Proficient in managing production machinery, tooling, and quality control processes.
  • Solid understanding of solar mounting structures and associated fabrication methods.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and quality management systems.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems, MS Excel, and production planning tools.
  • Strong leadership skills with proven ability to manage shop floor teams and workflows.
