Job Overview

The role of Key Account Manager is a critical position within our organization. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and profitability by managing and expanding key client relationships, particularly with Japanese clients.

This role requires a strategic thinker who can develop and implement plans to meet sales targets and customer satisfaction goals. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary liaison between clients and the organization, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service and solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Establish and Strengthen Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with Japanese clients, understanding their needs and preferences.
  • Identify Opportunities for Growth: Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for growth and collaboration in the Japanese market.
  • Develop Strategic Account Plans: Create and execute account plans to drive revenue growth and maximize account value.
  • Upsell and Cross-sell Opportunities: Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products or services to existing clients.
  • Align Account Strategies: Align account strategies with overall business and market objectives to ensure seamless execution.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Effectively manage the sales pipeline to maximize revenue potential and ensure timely closure of deals.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify new business opportunities and target potential customers.
  • Lead Generation Strategies: Implement effective lead generation strategies to bring in new business and expand existing relationships.
  • Market Trends: Monitor market trends to identify opportunities for product expansion and stay ahead of the competition.
  • New Business Opportunities: Continuously seek and identify new business opportunities to drive growth and revenue.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Manage and nurture a robust sales pipeline for future opportunities.
  • Customer Complaints: Address customer complaints promptly and efficiently to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing management or a related field.
  • MBA (preferably).
  • Extensive experience as an interpreter in Japanese language, with a track record of progressively responsible roles.
  • Certifications such as Certified Professional in minimum JLPT N3, preferably (N2).
Estimated Salary: ₹800,000 - ₹1,200,000 per annum
