About the Role

This position involves leading a team to manage a contingent workforce program, ensuring scalability and compliance. The successful candidate will oversee all processes, policies, systems, vendors, and internal stakeholders involved in the onboarding, access management, and offboarding of both temporary labor and access-only contractors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the full lifecycle of the contingent workforce program, including temporary labor and access-only contractors, with accountability for service delivery, program adoption, risk mitigation, and overall performance.
  • Develop and govern program policies & processes.
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve end-to-end processes for requisition intake, onboarding, access provisioning, offboarding, contractor data governance, and compliance.
  • Acts as business owners and primary liaison with the VMS provider, overseeing roadmap planning, system enhancements, issue resolution and partnership performance.
  • Lead renewals, pricing negotiations, and risk reviews in partnership with Legal and IS&P.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have 11+ years of experience in contingent workforce management, vendor management, HR operations, or procurement, along with a track record of building high-performing teams and managing stakeholders across HR, Legal, IT, and Procurement.

They should possess deep knowledge of contingent workforce best practices, contractor classifications, onboarding workflows, and compliance, as well as strong functional and technical expertise in VMS platforms, contract negotiation, vendor oversight, and performance management.

A background in contract negotiation, vendor oversight, and performance management is also essential, along with excellent communication and influencing skills, capable of interacting with executive leadership.
