Job Title: Human Resource Strategist

The ideal candidate will be responsible for gaining a deep understanding of the retail business objectives and staff-related challenges to create strategic recommendations based on this insight.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive governance on human resource metrics such as staffing, retention, engagement, and cost for the business.
  • Engage with regional managers/territory managers on recruitment, compensation, and employee relations.
  • Operate independently to ensure employee satisfaction and development of the team.
  • Train, mentor, and lead HR initiatives and best practices for the team.
  • Directly interact with store staff, implement change initiatives related to culture, performance, recognition, and policies.
  • Responsible for HR operations, induction, performance management, employee relations, and exit processes.
  • Cook individual managers on growing management/leadership capabilities.
  • Own/drive HR policies and directives, ensuring smooth implementation across the organisation.
  • Travel across the country for staff meetings.

Qualifications include 3-6 years' experience in retail relationships, preferably from large format businesses; ability to manage big teams; strong communication and interpersonal skills; and fluency in Hindi and English.
