  • Business Operations Specialist

Job Description:

In this role, you will lead business operations and contribute to strategic initiatives. You will ensure efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness of solutions and pipeline management.

You will research business, operational, and strategic initiatives that require analytical skills, knowledge of organizational strategy, and understanding of international business. You will work independently to make recommendations for support functions by providing leadership and support.

Assist in the planning and execution of programs and initiatives that may include risk mitigation, efficiency, and customer experience. Collaborate and consult with team leaders in developing project plans, policies, and procedures.

Provide leadership in managing relationships and implementing programs, services, and initiatives with cross-functional business partners. Process trade allocations both manually and electronically, accurately and timely.

Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders (sales, operations, legal, compliance) to resolve trade-related issues. Understand the complete trade lifecycle from order entry to settlement.

Manage trade fails effectively and proactively identify and resolve any potential issues. Assist in the onboarding of new client accounts, gathering and verifying necessary information.

Maintain strong client relationships by providing prompt and effective support. Understand and apply settlement instructions, including SSI and market practices.

Generate reports and analyze data as needed to support sales and business decisions. Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies.

Suggest and work towards process efficiency ideas. Support rates sales support team at US hours.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

4+ years of business execution, implementation, or strategic planning experience. Master's or bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or related field.

4+ years of experience in a financial services environment, preferably within fixed income sales support or operations. Proficiency in Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
