Job Title: IT Network Support Specialist

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Network Support Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing L1 level support for our global IT infrastructure, ensuring that all network-related issues are resolved promptly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line support for network-related issues.
  • Monitor network performance using industry-leading tools such as SolarWinds, Manage Engine, Cisco Prime, and NAGIOS.
  • Perform proactive monitoring of Cisco R&S, HP Aruba, Ruckus Wireless, WAN, and ISP links.
  • Analyze bandwidth utilization and generate reports on availability and trends.
  • Respond to alerts and notifications configured in monitoring systems.
  • Carry out basic network operations including VLAN creation, port/user mapping, DHCP, wireless connectivity troubleshooting, etc.
  • Coordinate with ISPs and third-party vendors for issue resolution.
  • Adhere to ITIL processes for Incident, Problem, Change, and Configuration Management.
  • Work with ticketing tools like ServiceNow for issue tracking and resolution.

Technical Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a global IT support environment.
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring tools and network equipment.
  • Familiarity with LAN/WAN bandwidth and performance monitoring.
  • Experience in generating technical reports for clients or management.
  • Exposure to global customer support environments.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with global IT support operations.
  • Proficient in monitoring and ticketing tools.

Desirable Skills:

  • Understanding of ITIL framework and processes.
  • CCNA certification is an advantage.
