Network Support Specialist

The ideal candidate will become a product expert in designated fields, including Wireless Technologies, Routing & Switching, Security & VPNs, Security Cameras, VoIP Phones, and Door Access Systems.
Responsibilities include being the first point of contact for users, obtaining background information, prioritizing requests, responding to users efficiently, performing hands-on testing, and staying up-to-date on client products and features.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for advancing our user-oriented approach to technical support.
This role requires written and verbal fluency, familiarity with client products, and prior knowledge of IP addresses, DHCP, VLANs, DNS, PoE, wireless communication, devices, and WiFi standards.
A Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Engineering, Computer Science, Networking, or a related field, or equivalent technical experience is required.
The ideal candidate should possess good judgment and prioritization skills, flexibility to work nights and/or weekends, and comfort working in a dynamic environment.
Ultimately, the selected candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that each user leaves their support interaction with a deeper understanding of their own technology.
