Job Summary

A seasoned Architect is sought after by a boutique design firm to lead commercial, residential, and institutional architectural projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in project conceptualization, planning, coordination, detailed drawing development, execution to final project handover.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage projects from design conceptualization stage to final project handover
  • Develop technical drawings with knowledge of material products and its applications
  • Collaborate with a team of professionals such as building service engineers, construction managers, quantity surveyors, and architectural technologists
  • Coordinate with Project coordinator/ Architecture/ Structural and MEP Consultants & Liaison Architects
  • Supervise and direct other supporting staff in the delegation of work and oversee the provision of assistance on projects as necessary
Requirements
  • Proficient and professional interaction with clients, quick understanding of projects
  • Translate design ideas into sketches
  • Monitor the design process from conception to construction administration to ensure consistency of design ideas for every assigned project
  • Interact with building officials during project permitting and construction phases
  • In-depth knowledge and adherence to prepared Bills of Quantities and the same to be updated on exclusions or inclusions of items
Preferred Qualifications
  • Foreign school of education or work experience
  • Candidates preferably from Western Lines due to travel issues in Mumbai
