We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager with strong aviation domain expertise to oversee strategic projects in the airline sector. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project management, client engagement, and cross-functional leadership.

The role involves leading end-to-end delivery of airline domain projects, ensuring scope, timeline, cost, and quality objectives are met. You will engage closely with airline clients to understand their needs, define project scope, and translate them into actionable plans.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage project schedules, risks, issues, and dependencies using agile/waterfall or hybrid methodologies
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including development, QA, business analysts, and third-party vendors
  • Monitor and report project progress through regular status updates, dashboards, and stakeholder meetings

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field; PMP/Prince2 certification is a plus
  • 15+ years of total experience, with at least 5+ years managing projects in the airline or aviation industry
  • Strong knowledge of airline systems such as PSS (Passenger Service Systems), DCS (Departure Control Systems), revenue management, loyalty systems, or MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul)
  • Hands-on experience in managing enterprise applications, digital transformation, or system integration projects in airline context

Desirable Skills:

Apart from the above requirements, it would be beneficial if you have:

  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Familiarity with tools like MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, or similar
  • Ability to work in a global delivery model and manage geographically distributed teams
