About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our Technology team as a Business Risk Manager. In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in shaping our risk management strategy and ensuring the long-term sustainability of our growth.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of technical risk and be able to develop and implement effective controls to mitigate potential threats. They will work closely with our Technology and Product teams to analyze and better understand their risk profiles, identifying areas for improvement and implementing targeted solutions.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about technology risk and is looking to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced environment. If you have a strong background in IT infrastructure, operations, software, hardware, data flows, change control, and Agile/Kanban methodologies, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and better understand the risk profile of various product and technology teams
  • Design, implement, and test controls to manage and reduce risk
  • Perform risk and control assessments and deep dives to identify actionable insights
  • Proactively manage risks to prevent major incidents, breaches, or non-compliance
  • Record, handle, and report on risk incidents
  • Deliver technology risk insights to senior stakeholders, including data-driven risk reports and monitoring metrics

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure, operations, software, hardware, data flows, change control, and Agile/Kanban methodologies
  • Able to adapt messages based on audience and expectations while interacting with stakeholders
  • Able to define risk appetite, risk impact, and identify risk likelihood
  • Able to quickly assume responsibilities
  • Prior experience of interpreting and organizing complex data
  • Able to provide control testing support to stakeholders
