Job Overview:

Main Responsibilities:

  • To design, develop, and modify software using Progress 4GL and other programming languages
  • To enhance existing software by fixing errors, improving quality, and updating integrations with other software
  • To analyze user needs to determine software requirements
  • To develop automated testing procedures and solutions to ensure software functionality
  • To translate business requirements into usable and scalable software
  • To interface with customers and vendors to arrive at design and build solutions
  • To process and understand data outputs from the software
  • To participate in design and code reviews
  • To oversee the deployment of software
