Job Overview:

Our team is seeking a seasoned Memory Design Engineer with expertise in SRAM design and layout to lead the development of cutting-edge memory solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with full-custom memory design, characterization, and architectures.

The selected individual will be responsible for creating and publishing execution plans, design quality plans, and project health reports. A strong understanding of different memory architectures and expertise in working with FinFET architecture and addressing variability and manufacturability challenges are essential.

Key requirements include:

  • Hands-on experience designing SRAM leaf cells from scratch to top-level integration
  • Expertise in physical verification flow debugging (DRC, LVS, DFM, PERC, ERC, EM, IR)
  • Proficiency in Cadence Virtuoso layout editor and Caliber Physical Verification Flow
  • Experience with Synopsys Custom Compiler is a plus
  • Knowledge of good layout practices in lower process nodes (7nm and 5nm)
  • Understanding of address process-dependent effects (electro-migration, IR drop) and optimizing layouts for yield enhancement and manufacturing robustness
  • Experience in debugging silicon failures and identifying layout-related issues

As a senior memory design engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing optimized physical layouts for memory cells, arrays, and peripheral circuits using industry-leading tools.
