Role Summary:
- The Regional Business Developer drives the strategy and execution of Small to Medium Enterprise businesses in the region, aligning with set targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Management
- The incumbent develops and implements strategic plans to achieve business objectives.
- Supports workforce planning by providing forecasts for departmental needs.
- Manages operating frameworks, ensures implementation and review of processes for high performance standards.
Core Responsibilities:
- Executes business strategies for Small to Medium Enterprise clients in the region.
- Presents yearly business development plans aligned with bank goals.
- Achieves targets for new and existing clients, manages financials effectively.
- Formulates regional strategies for product growth, liaises with Product Development Team.
- Manages talent, including career development, coaching, and mentoring.
- Develops recruitment and resourcing strategies.
- Reviews quality principles and processes.
- Sponsors quality standards in management initiatives.
- Ensures stringent fraud control policies are in place.
- Maintains minimal Non-Performing Assets in the region.
People Management Responsibilities:
- Develops a continuous talent pipeline for key roles.
- Monitors direct reports' goals and KPIs, ensures effective performance management.
- Provides guidance, feedback, coaching, and development opportunities.
Risk and Internal Control Responsibilities:
- Governs risk-related policies and processes.
- Reviews internal control systems, takes corrective action based on audit findings.
