Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned talent acquisition professional to drive recruitment for our higher education institution in India.

This role will focus on hiring top-tier candidates, leveraging a strong understanding of the education landscape and networks across institutions.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Partner with department heads and leadership to understand workforce needs and design effective recruitment strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Leverage multiple sourcing channels (job portals, referrals, social media, academic networks, and talent pools) to identify and engage high-quality candidates. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of active and passive talent for current and future roles.
  • Drive an engaging and seamless recruitment journey from initial contact to onboarding, ensuring candidates experience professionalism and transparency at every stage.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to craft compelling job descriptions and promote openings through relevant channels, enhancing the employer brand in the education sector.
  • Track and analyze recruitment metrics to assess effectiveness, optimize processes, and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure recruitment practices comply with employment laws, regulatory guidelines, and organizational policies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment documentation.
  • Work closely with team leaders and leadership to support the people agenda—fostering collaboration, morale, productivity, and retention.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor hiring strategies, and best practices to position the organization competitively in the talent market.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of recruitment experience, with a focus on managing talent acquisition portfolios.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, or related field.
  • Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS), HRMS, and other recruitment software/tools.
  • Proven track record of building high-performing teams from scratch and scaling recruitment processes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
