About the Financial Services Team

The Gurugram-based team is responsible for Controllership and Reporting activities for our organization. This includes Preparing Consolidated Financial Statements, Entity restructuring, Leading projects and implementation of Key Accounting Processes and Standards, and maintaining oversight of Key accounts.

Role Responsibilities

This role will be a valued member of our FIL Group Control team in Gurugram. You will work closely with regional financial controlling teams and centre of excellence teams to develop strong relationships with business partners and meet accounting and reporting requirements.

Your Key Accountabilities

  • Understanding Finance functional processes with focus on Transfer Pricing landscape as well as Business finance with focus on various reporting activities
  • Understanding global investment management landscape
  • Working with senior stakeholders across varying time zones within Finance function
  • Demonstrating strong communication/interpersonal skills
  • Proven analytical background
  • Understanding and working within existing system architecture and technology landscape
  • Exhibiting advanced excel skills
  • Demonstrating change mindset
  • Working knowledge of RCSA's and SOX framework
  • Understanding of analytical tools like PowerBI, Tableau and Power Automate

Qualifications and Experience

We are looking for a qualified chartered accountant and seasoned professional with:

  • 5-6 years of relevant working experience of working in Financial controlling team
  • Experience in Finance with exposure to accounting, data analytics and reporting
  • Strong analytical skills including knowledge of accounting principles and processes
  • Attention to detail and ability to dive into issues in depth
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office software packages; Proficient with Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of Hyperion SmartView, Oracle EPM system, PowerBI, Tableau and Power Automate
  • Collaborative approach to develop, share, accept and implement ideas
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and contribute towards team goals, but equally able to work independently and deliver results;
  • Ability to complete multiple tasks against tight deadlines, able to prioritise and organise effectively
  • Ability to grasp new concepts, assimilate information and deliver high quality solutions at speed
  • Resilient, energetic, and enthusiastic; and Able to cope with sustained pressure
