Job Opportunity:

Senior Accounting Professional

 

  • Primary Responsibilities: Preparing and verifying Purchase & Sales Bills (in line with POs, invoices, supplementary bills) to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Effective Cash Management: Maintaining cash control, preparing vouchers, and entering daily transactions into accounting books or ERP systems for seamless financial management.
  • Creditor Management: Efficiently managing creditors and making vendor payments via NEFT/RTGS for timely settlement.
  • LC Documentation: Handling LC documentation and liaising with bankers for smooth daily operations.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Preparing monthly Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) to ensure accurate bank balances.
  • Salary & Wages Computation: Calculating salaries and wages, maintaining Salary and Attendance Registers, and ensuring compliance with labor laws.
  • Stock Statement Preparation: Preparing monthly stock statements for banks under the Cash Credit facility.
  • Account Finalization: Assisting in the finalization of accounts, including Balance Sheet, P&L, and Cash Flow statements.
  • Official Communications: Drafting official letters related to accounts and statutory matters.
  • MIS Reports: Generating MIS reports for management to facilitate informed decision-making.

 

Key Statutory Compliances:

  • TDS Computation & Payment: Computing and paying TDS as per tax regulations, e-filing returns, issuing Form 16/16A, advance tax computation, and ITR filing.
  • GST Compliance: Registering for GST, generating challans, filing GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B, annual returns, refunds, audits, and E-Way bill management.
  • PF & ESI Administration: Making monthly contributions, generating UANs, transferring or withdrawing funds, and registering employees under PF/ESI schemes.
  • Legacy Compliances: Managing VAT/CST, Excise Duty – filing, reconciliations, and audit support.

 

Essential Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce (Accounting/Finance).
  • Desirable: Master's degree in Commerce or specialization in Finance/Accounts.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian taxation, GST, TDS, PF/ESI, and statutory compliance.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Tally, and ERP systems.

Able to manage multiple statutory timelines effectively and provide analytical solutions.
