Job Overview

The primary objective of this role is to provide strategic leadership in the development and implementation of infrastructure management initiatives. The Assistant Vice President-Infra will be responsible for overseeing the organization's infrastructure operations, encompassing on-premise data center management and cloud deployments.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive strategies for infrastructure management, incorporating best practices and industry standards.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of existing infrastructure effectiveness and efficiency, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for leveraging systems.
  • Negotiate procurement agreements for software, hardware, and other IT supplies, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Manage inventory of software licenses, hardware, and other IT assets, optimizing resource utilization.
  • Collaborate with senior management and peers to drive strategic decision-making and foster a culture of innovation.
  • Lead outsourced teams in daily operations and activities, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality results.
  • Provide expert solutions to complex business challenges, leveraging in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives and market trends.
  • Perform live disaster recovery activities and periodic drills, maintaining business continuity and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and maintain working knowledge of server, storage, database, operating systems (Windows and Linux), and network technologies.

Required Profile:
Educational Qualification: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in infrastructure management for both on-premise data center and cloud infra
Skills Required: Strategic planning, program management, project coordination, technical expertise, collaboration, and communication skills
